a program covering the ages 13-14 or 15-16, for example, Babe Ruth, Pony and Colt
Leagues, and if so registered all members of the VFW team shall be eligible to

VFW Baseball Varsity, 13-14 Year Old, 12 and Under and 10 and under divisions will be
determined by using the South Dakota High School Athletic Associations enrollment figures as a
guide to determine the enrollment figures for each class in each division. The State Baseball
Chairman, State Adjutant/Quartermaster and/or State Commander has the authority to set
the enrollment figures for each class. Considerations will be taken concerning teams that have
players from more than one school district, where separate towns draw their players from the
same school district and players live in a community that has a team but the school district is
in another community that has a team. The State Baseball Chairman has the flexibility to
allow a player to play from a higher classified team to play on a lower classified team due to
extenuating circumstances. This player must also have a release form from the team he is
leaving.
